A day to pay tribute to records, cool album covers and the invention of the phonograph (Aug. 12, 1877), the 131st anniversary of the invention of the phonograph. So, I'll be dusting off the turntable, putting on one of my husbands favorite albums (he'll be shocked that I kept that box during all of our moves), put the album on the spindle and watch the thing go round and round making beautiful music or popping and skipping while making scratchy sounds.
